Carolyn Leenerts
Administrative Specialist
Carolyn Leenerts is a “Hoosier” – meaning she was born in Indiana. Her whole family, with the exception of her father, was born at the same hospital in Indianapolis. Her and her family moved to the Northwest suburbs of Chicago when she was six years old, and lived there until she graduated high school. She then moved to California, and has been here ever since.
She has been married for over 30 years, and has two kids (Jacob: 23, Claire: 21), plus a Maine Coon cat named Kujo (named for good reason). They currently live in Costa Mesa.
Carolyn has worked many jobs throughout her career, including working as a K-Mart Cashier, a Phone Solicitor, a Factory Assembler, a Type Setter/Printer, and even a Pawn Shop Administrator. She eventually ended up working in commercial banking for 12 years, and switched to accounting shortly after, which she has enjoyed for over 10 years.
She has been a part of the Code Four family since February 2017, and is primarily responsible for billing, payables, purchasing, office management and some Human Resources tasks.
In her spare time, she loves playing the keyboard and singing. She was a member of her high school choir, and got to perform at the 1984 Olympics opening ceremony with her college choir. She has traveled to Moscow and St. Petersburg in Russia to sing Handel’s Messiah for the first time there in over 60 years.
She’s a lover of a good joke, but loves bad jokes even more – don’t we all?
