Sporting teams at Staples Center partnered with Code Four in creating protective dividing solutions for their staff, players and teams.

It’s almost been a full year since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic officially began here in the United States, and if there’s one thing that’s been reassured during these unprecedented times, it’s that safety is always the #1 priority - no matter what.

With the start of the NBA & NHL 2021 regular seasons approaching and sporting venues beginning to open (with limitations), Staples Center management sought the help of Code Four to implement protective COVID-19 partitions to keep their staff, players and spectators safe.

How did Code Four make this happen? With the help of a handy laser scanner (we’re talking about you, Stanley), lots of metal and lots of welding power, our Code Four Creative and Fabrications teams were able to create custom-built partitions and dividers throughout all activated areas around Staples Center, both fan-facing and staff/player-facing, for all teams involved (Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Clippers, and Los Angeles Kings).

Each sporting team required different assets for their partitions, some needed custom decals for their dividers, some needed locker room dividers only, etc. - which posed a challenge for Code Four, a challenge worth taking.
